Mako Technology Labs LLC (“Mako,” “we,” “us”) publishes mobile and web applications including Practice Signal. This Privacy Policy explains how Practice Signal handles information.

Overview

Practice Signal is designed as a private reflection and practice tracking tool. The app operates primarily on the user’s device and does not require the creation of user accounts or the transmission of personal data to servers operated by Mako Technology Labs LLC.

Practice and Wellness Data

Practice Signal allows users to log and review personal practice sessions. As part of this functionality, the app stores information that users voluntarily enter in order to track patterns in their practice over time.

This information may include:

• Practice session logs
• Effort ratings
• Outcome ratings
• Intention or focus ratings
• Focus areas or goals
• Personal reflections or notes

This information is used solely to provide the core functionality of the app, which is helping users observe patterns in their practice and reflect on their sessions.

Practice and wellness data entered into the app:

• Is stored locally on the user's device.
• Is not transmitted to Mako Technology Labs LLC.
• Is not sold, rented, or shared with third parties.
• Is accessible only by the user within the application.

Information We Collect

Mako Technology Labs LLC does not collect, transmit, or store personal information from users of Practice Signal.

The application does not require user accounts and does not request personally identifiable information such as name, email address, phone number, or location.

Local Storage of Data

All practice data entered into Practice Signal is stored locally on the user’s device. This information exists only to support the functionality of the app.

Mako Technology Labs LLC does not operate servers or databases that store user-generated data for this application.

Third-Party Services

Practice Signal currently does not include:

• Third-party tracking technologies

If optional analytics, crash reporting, or similar tools are introduced in the future to improve the reliability or usability of the application, this Privacy Policy will be updated to disclose what data is collected and how it is used.

Health Platform Integrations

Practice Signal does not currently access Apple HealthKit, Google Fit, or other health platform APIs.

If such integrations are added in the future, the app will request explicit permission from the user before accessing those services and this Privacy Policy will be updated accordingly.

Because data is stored locally on the device, its protection relies on the security features provided by the device’s operating system, such as iOS or Android.

Mako Technology Labs LLC does not maintain servers containing user practice data for this application.

Data Retention and Deletion

All data created within Practice Signal remains on the user’s device and is retained only as long as the application remains installed.

You may delete your data at any time by:

• Deleting entries within the app
• Clearing the application's storage through your device settings
• Uninstalling the application, which permanently removes all locally stored data

Because we do not collect or store user data externally, we cannot access, retrieve, or delete user data on behalf of users.

Children’s Privacy

Practice Signal is intended for a general audience and is not directed toward children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in features, legal requirements, or development practices. When updates occur, the “Last updated” date at the top of this page will be revised.
