Delete Your Account

BiteSignal by Mako Technology Labs LLC allows you to delete your account and all associated data directly from the app.

How to Delete Your Account

Open BiteSignal on your device.
Go to the Settings tab.
Under the Account section, scroll to the bottom.
Tap "Delete account".
Confirm by tapping "Delete account" in the confirmation dialog.

What Gets Deleted

When you delete your account, the following data is permanently removed from our servers:

Your account and authentication credentials
All trips, sessions, and catches
All saved spots
All catch photos stored in cloud storage
Custom species and bait tags
Your user profile

Data stored locally on your device (on-device database and cached photos) is also erased during the deletion process.

What Is Retained

Subscription records: If you purchased a Pro subscription, the transaction history is maintained by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play). You can manage or cancel your subscription through your device's subscription settings. Mako Technology Labs does not retain payment information.

Timing

Account deletion is processed immediately. All data is removed from our servers within seconds of confirmation. There is no waiting period or recovery window — deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.
